Relocating to Canada: 2-factor that may denied you of your application approval.

It's obvious that not everyone that apply for Canadian permanent resident usually get approved.

Victor Jegede want to share with you 2 factors that will lead to your canada permanent resident visa approval.

Today, I will be sharing with you 2 factors that have led to the denial of several applications, or that have necessitated the need for the Canadian Immigration authorities (Federal or Provincial) to request for more information.

Factor 1: Proof of Fund

I once wrote on this and stated some of the things that are usually
accepted as proof of ''Transferable Fund".
Today however, I will be talking specifically about the use of bank
statement as proof of fund.

The preferable thing to do is to ensure that the account used is a personal account of the Principal Applicant or Spouse of the Principal Applicant. I also recommend to people to try and update the address on their bank profile to their current residential address.

Even if you have to borrow the money for this purpose, make sure the
money is deposited into your account and print the statement at the
appropriate time.
Don't wait until the last few months to applying before pushing
millions into an account that hasn't gotten a deposit of N500,000
at any particular point in time before!  It is wise to use an active account or build a non active account gradually over time before applying.

One major error some people make is to pay someone to help them
run/arrange a bank statement. For such arranged bank statement, the
"virtual" figures will definitely be difficult to verify especially considering
the fact that if the immigration authorities want to confirm such things,
it is very possible that your contact within the bank who arranged such
things for you might be by-passed.

Someone's application to the MPNP just got disapproved few days ago
due to this. The Manitoba Supporter have been interviewed and everything was going on smoothly before the Case Officer handling the file came up with this discovery.

The bank was contacted by the MPNP and to confirm if the bank statement emanated from them which the bank couldn't verify hence the end of the application and a 2-year ban of the Applicant.

Please it is far better to ensure you use a bank statement that is verifiable than to want to play some games around this.

Factor 2: Attestation of birth/Birth Certificate

This is another major factor that need to be properly done.

Attestation of birth!

I have been asked very often if an Age Declaration Affidavit can be used for Canadian Immigration processes.

Unfortunately, what is usually accepted by the Canadian Immigration authorities both at the Federal and Provincial level is the Attestation of birth document from the National Population Commission (NPC).

In Nigeria, the National Population Commission is the bodysaddled with the responsibility of registering all births.

Due to system inadequacies, a lot of birth were not well documented in the past hence the NPC has given some information to the Canadian immigration authorities as regards what document should be accepted as proof of birth from Nigerians.

According to the Deputy Director of the NPC's Vital Registration Dept, only individuals under the age of 18years can obtain a birth certificate.

Adults over the age of 18years can only obtain an Attestation of Birth. An Attestation of birth is a legal document issued to back up the Age

Declaration Affidavit of an individual who is over 18 years of age. So if you are applying either through the Express entry program or

Provincial nominee program as documented in his Permanent Residence In Canada Blueprint.

If you have an Age Declaration Affidavit before, you may take it to the nearest NPC office and they will give you the relevant forms to fill.

If you do not have an Age Declaration Affidavit, still go to the nearest NPC office and they will advice you appropriately on what to do.
